Victoria Beckham has dismissed rumours that her marriage to David Beckham is in trouble. The fashion designer, who celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary in July, insisted the couple have "nothing to prove".

"I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and beautiful, healthy, happy children," she told Grazia. Yes, we travel a lot with our respective businesses and charitable commitments, but we always make time for each other as a couple and as a family."

She added: "David and I have nothing to prove. We love each other, look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents."

Victoria Beckham said her marriage to David is "strong"

David and Victoria married in 1999 and have four children together – Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, ten, and four-year-old Harper. Their relationship has come under scrutiny in recent months as the pair each spend lots of time away travelling with work. Out of sight definitely doesn't mean out of mind, however. David recently revealed how much he was missing his family while away on another business trip.

After a whirlwind trip that saw him make pit-stops in New York, Miami and Dubai between stop-offs in London, David admitted he couldn't wait to get home to see his "beautiful wife and unbelievable children".

The former England footballer had also praised his other half for the "powerful speech" she delivered at the Social Good Summit in New York City a week ago in a touching Instagram post.

It appears the feeling of pride is mutual, as Victoria also used the social networking site to express her delight that David was going to be taking part in a special charity football match to raise money for UNICEF.

"Proud of @davidbeckham putting his boots back on again at Old Trafford for the fantastic work of UNICEF," she captioned an image of David and Zinedine Zidane on the pitch together from their days as teammates at Real Madrid.

"Captaining the Great British team, managed by Sir Alex Ferguson against a Rest of the World side captained by @Zidane and managed by @mrancelotti on November 14th. Tickets on sale from today at www.manutd.com/tickets #MatchForChildren.”
