The excitable girls shared a video on Instagram, presenting their mentor Cheryl to their fans. "Finally! We got to dance with you @cherylofficial Hopefully we can perform together on real stage #4thImpact," the Filipino group wrote.

The girls then posed for a selfie with Cheryl and Cheryl's former Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts, who dropped in on the rehearsals.

The contestants clearly enjoy a close bond with their mentor and their fondness for each other is mutual. Last week Cheryl, 32, shared a sweet photo of herself and her act, writing: "The 4 most adorable, appreciative young ladies I have the pleasure of working with @4thimpactmusic When we're together we become 5th impact."

Having secured a place in the competition last week, 4th Impact will now be going on The X Factor tour next year.

Cheryl has also shown a lot of love and appreciation for her Ghanaian duo Reggie N Bollie. "When a serious rehearsal meeting turns into a vibe session with @reggienbollie #loveit," she captioned a video of the trio letting their hair down and bopping along to the music.

"Your love and energy is seriously infectious," she wrote alongside another photo. "Luv you guys."

On Sunday night's episode two acts left the competition – Max Stone and Monica Michael, whom Cheryl first mentored when Monica auditioned for the show last year. Monica didn't make it through to the 2014 live shows as she wasn't given a seat during the six-chair challenge.

Admitting to HELLO! Online that she and Cheryl still "have a little thing going on," Monica revealed that the I Don't Care singer and head judge Simon Cowell have urged her to release Pretty Little Sister, My Angel, a song written by Monica that won over the judges in her first audition.
