Dressed in a swimming costume while sat on a fake rock, the star is hilariously surrounded by The Little Mermaid characters with a shipwreck in the background as she smiles at the camera. The star is instantly recognisable in the snap, with her blonde hair tied in a half updo by a typical 90s bright pink scrunchie.

The 28-year-old posted a still of herself from the film, captioning the snap: "There's only one thing more terrifying than this..." before following it with the throwback photo and writing: "THIS."

Blake is currently expecting her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds, and opened up to Us Weekly about children, and that they were something she "always wanted ever since I was a little girl". She said: "I knew I wanted to have lots of kids because I had come from a big family so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."

Ryan spoke about their daughter, James, to GQ, revealing that the couple don't have a nanny. He said: "I'm surprised how patient I am with it. I feel like I could sometimes have a bit of a short fuse, but there's just been this weirdly endless supply of patience.

"I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time. And that's not because I have a nanny or something like that. It's just us right now, and I love it."
