Remember the dress that changed colour depending on who looked at it – white and gold or black and blue? A similar illusion has the Internet arguing once again, but this time it is a heated discussion over two of our favourite Hollywood celebrities!

In a snap that shows a Hollywood legend pulling a face, it appears that some people see Tom Hanks, while others are positive that they are actually looking at Bill Murray. The internet went into a frenzy while trying to work out who they are really looking at in the ambiguous snap.

Bill or Tom? The internet has been in discussion about the ambiguous snap

Many could have sworn it is the Toy Story actor Tom, with one writing: "I would bet a month's wages on it being Tom," while another added: "Looks more like Tom Hanks but T.H. would never wear that that!"

Others were decidedly on the fence, with one writing: "Well, it's clearly Tom H-- Isn't it? Wait." Another added: "the top half of the face looks like Hanks, the bottom half looks like Murray."

Thankfully, this is one online debate that does have an answer! The woman smiling in the photo with the actor has reached out to settle the discussion, confirming that it is actually the Groundhog Day actor Bill Murray who is pulling a funny face in the snap.

The woman in the photo confirmed that it was indeed Bill

Laura DiMichele-Ross, who shared the snap to the Facebook page 'Reasons why my son is crying' commented on the photo writing: "It's totally Bill. I can vouch cause I'm the one in the photo with the massive grin thinking 'Oh my god this is going to be an awesome photo!'"

According to Laura, the photo was taking during a golf competition back in 2012. She told the BBC: Bills a good person to follow as he jokes around and takes photos with fans. My son took one look at him and started bawling."
