Eddie said: "I remember going and there would be these concerts and theatre pieces and I didn't really have any friends and I would sing because I was obsessed with singing then and I'd be the guy who sang like Memory from Cats while James would be like rapping and doing street dance and genuinely I was a bit scared of it."

Jessica Chastain chimed in, asking "Were you one of the cool kids?" to which James replied "I was the cool kids!" The Into the Woods star then hinted that he remembered Eddie singing Memory, saying: "I remember that. It was amazing… If only we had a clip of you singing that." Realising what James had prepared, Eddie shouted "no!" before the clip rolled which showed the star singing as a child.

Fans were quick to comment on young Eddie's singing skills, with one commenting on the video: "He's so cute! His face was so red."

"His reaction is what I look like when I see my old Facebook posts," another added.

During his visit, Eddie also joked about his character from the new Fantastic Beasts film, Newt Scamander, as he attempts to get through airport security while hiding the animals in his suitcase from James, who plays an overzealous TSA agent.
