Mum-of-three Emma Willis doesn't have much time on her hands what with her busy work schedule and all her mummy duties - but she makes sure that whatever happens, she and husband Matt Willis have time alone together.

The popular TV star has opened to up HELLO! Online about how important it is to find time for yourself and your partner while raising children, as well as to pamper yourself now and again prior to date nights.

"Sometimes our date nights are just spontaneous," The Voice presenter said. "Matt was at a gig the other night and I had been at meetings, so we went along to [a friend's] party. Sometimes my mum will say, 'We can look after them tonight,' and you ask, 'If that's alright?' and then peg it! We would gladly go out with each other every week but we can't. It is important to make sure you make time for each other as otherwise you get buried in other stuff like cooking, cleaning, washing and the kids. You stop and say, 'Have we actually had a full conversation with each other today or was it just 'Can you get the stuff out of the tumble dryer?''"

Being so busy with work adds to Emma's already hectic life, but the stunning brunette admits having a day at the TV studio has benefits too. "It's nice to have a day off from your children every now and then!" she admits. "To have that one day out a week is good. Sometimes if you can have at least a five minute soak in the bath - that makes all the difference," she adds.

The Voice star opened up about finding time to spend on yourself

The star has three children - seven-year-old Isabelle, five-year-old Ace and eight-month-old Trixie Grace, so although she doesn't have a lot of time to get ready for a night out, she does try to steal half an hour now and again.

"If you've got half an hour, you work around that. Or have a bath in the day or the night before and sort out your shaving. I think the best time to shave is in the bath towards the end. You need a good razor, the Venus razor is good as it has moisturising bars too, excellent for the winter. Epsom salts in the bath is good, gets rid of water retention."
