The group thanked their ex-boyfriends

She continued: "We'd like to thank our team. The label, Sony, Simon, our management…and us girls because if it wasn't for our friendship, we wouldn't still be going. And lastly, cheers for our exes for helping us to make an amazing song. This is for you lads!" The girls also wowed at the awards show with their opening number, and fans including Niall Horan congratulated them on their success. The One Direction band member tweeted: "MASSIVE congrats to @LittleMix. Every time there's a chance to kill a live performance, they do it. Also congratulations on your first Brit." Another fan cheekily added: "Little Mix beating Zayn with Shout Out to My Ex is art. I want this moment bottled up so I can have sips of it in the future.
