Santa Montefiore has revealed the song that was played at her sister Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's funeral earlier this week. It was played at the funeral, with Santa revealing: "For all those who loved Tara, this is her final song, played at her funeral today. Wise, raw and poetic."

The poignant song features lyrics including: "Hey you, don't be scared of the dark. It's gonna be okay, yeah, you'll fight another day. If you look up to the skies, yeah that's me, I'm just a cloud chilling out, floating by looking down on you." It continues: "Hey you, dry away your tears. No you're not alone. I'll keep you safe and take away your fears. Look up to the skies – astrology never lies. I'm hanging with the planets chilling out with the stars and dance to the beat and feel the heat tonight."

Tara's funeral was held on Monday in Hampshire

Tara sadly died of natural causes at the age of 45 at her home in London last month. A private funeral service was held at a country church in Hampshire on Monday, with Santa tweeting a photo and writing: "Celebrating Tara, my darling sister, today with our entire family at her funeral. Such a beautiful service." Santa also shared the eulogy she read at her sister's funeral, which made reference to Tara's unforgettable sense of humour.

"My darling Tara, I hope you know how much we miss you," it read. "From the moment you were born we were a family of five, but now we are four and that just isn't right. I hope you're aware of all the lovely things people have written about you, and that you are touched, because you never believed you lit up a room or made people feel special, but you did. You really did. I hope that you are resting, because you found life hard and now it is done. My beloved sister, I don't think you realised that success is never about the big things, but about the small things, and that just being you was enough."

Tara spoke about her funeral two weeks before death

Santa went on to say that she hoped the angels and "old Dummer dogs" are making Heaven feel like home for Tara. She concluded: "As your sister I always wanted to look after you and I tried, I really tried. I hope they are looking after you now in Heaven and that you are letting them, and that you heal. Most of all, my dearest Tara, I hope you know that we love you, with all our hearts, we really do."

Tara shot to fame in the nineties as the first IT Girl. She was a regular face on the London party scene and was close friends with the British royal family, in particular Prince Charles. Her sister Santa has shared a message of thanks, writing on Twitter: "I want to thank everyone who has sent me such lovely messages of support! I realise that the world is full of kind & compassionate people."
