Kieran, who appeared on last year’s X Factor in boy band 5 After Midnight – now called 5am - shared a photo of his newborn son on his Instagram page with the caption: “My little bundle of joy” beside smiley face and heart emojis. The adorable photo showed Kieran, 21, cradling his baby boy who was all wrapped up in a white blanket and matching white hat. Kieran and his ex-girlfriend Sophie Johnson have named their son Jaxon, with Kieran writing ‘#JaxonAlleyne’ next to the cute snap.

Just one month previously, the singer revealed he had parted ways from Jaxon’s mum Sophie. At the time, Kieran told The Sun:  “I know she will be the most amazing mother to our son. I’m looking forward to us starting a new chapter together as great friends and committed parents to our baby boy.” X Factor viewers first learnt that Kieran was to become a father during last year’s show. He said at the time about having a baby at a young age: "I am scared because I'm only 21 but I'm ready to step up. It really shocked me and caught me off guard. But there was never any conversation about not going through with it. It's a blessing, not a curse."
