With a new single out, an EP on the way, a tour across the US and a top performance on the Late Late Show with James Corden, its safe to say that our favourite band of the nineties, New Kids of the Block, has made one brilliant comeback! We caught up with bandmate Jordan Knight to chat about how touring now is different to back in the day, their new generation of fans, and how the boys still "get down"!

Chatting to HELLO! about their new single, One More Night, Jordan said: "Everything's great, everything is really great. Our fans, they're just reacting really well to it... One of the most exciting things and fun things we've always done is record new music - just brings new life into everything." He then hinted at the band's new moves, adding: "We get to create new choreography, kind of a new act almost! It's just a fun thing."

Despite getting a little older, Jordan insists there's no let up on the dance routines! "We still get down," he joked. "Honestly! We don't play, we don't mess around. We're not giving up on this thing. We're going for it." He also chatted about how an appearance in the reboot of Fuller House gave them a new generation of fans.

"It's so surprising that so many younger kids reacted to it," he said. "It's kind of cool that they look up to us as well and you know, when you get older you think kids aren't going to look after us, we're like the old timers! But no it's true, they have their own stars and their own music, but it's cool to see that it's multi-generational."

The band are touring around the US, but according to the singer, it couldn't be more different from the experience at the peak of the band's popularity. "It's not as gruelling," he explained.

"It's still somewhat gruelling but we used to tour like, for ten months out of a year. Now we tour for three months out of a year… I have a way better time because when I'm out there I'm really soaking it in when before it was like, 'This is our life' and it's like it's getting old, it becomes old hat. You get older and you get wiser and you realise how lucky you are."

New single ‘One More Night’ available now and EP ‘Thankful’ out on May 12th.
