You might imagine that having a husband with a multi-million pound fortune, Jools Oliver would be trailing nannies and assistants. When Daisy, nine, and Petal, three, got tired of their scooters the multi-tasking mum grabbed that too on the way back from school in London's Primrose Hill.

"My mother dressed us in Mothercare clothes and I have done the same with my children, so Mothercare has always been part of my life. He told journalists: "She is an amazing mum, but you know what? I think she's too good, and I think that's a problem. "Like she can't delegate, she can't give a little bit." He added: "She's knackered. She hasn’t been away without the kids for eight years. But Jools, 37, has put her experience of motherhood to good use, recently starting a kids clothing range. Some items in the Little Bird collection by Mothercare were being bought at a rate of one a minute while other pieces have sold out – all within four weeks of launching.
