Set in the icy winter climes of Utah, Sundance Film Festival is literally one of the coolest events on the film calendar, and it is there that Ashton Kutcher will show the world how he went about immortalising one of the 21st century's great visionaries, Steve Jobs. The festival kicks off on January 17 and Jobs – the biopic of Apple's legendary founder in which Ashton stars – is set to be the jewel in the crown when it premieres on closing night.

With his name stamped on such a highly-anticipated film, all eyes will be on leading man Ashton for personal as well as professional reasons. Sundance will provide his first public appearance since he officially filed for divorce from Demi Moore in December, more than a year after their separation. The Two And A Half Men star is now in a relationship with Mila Kunis, and it's possible that the actress, recently named the sexiest woman alive by Esquire, will accompany her partner to the showcase of a film that has been every bit as much a passion as it has a project. In real life, Ashton himself is an active Silicone Valley investor, and when Steve Jobs died in 2011, he paid homage by quoting the founder on his twitter page. "Design is not just what it looks and feels like. Design is how it works," he wrote. Joining Ashton at Sundance will be Les Miserables' Amanda Seyfried, below left. She stars as adult film actress Linda Lovelace. in the biopic, Lovelace. Sarah Jessica Parker also features as renowned feminist Gloria Steinem. Ashton's estranged wife Demi was originally lined up to play the role, but withdrew during the tumultuous few months which followed their separation.

Amanda's fellow Hollywood blondes Kristen Bell, above right, and January Jones are also shedding their skins and embracing Sundance's auteur vibe. Mad Men star January swaps glamour for grit in the dark Western Sweetwater. Since welcoming her son Xander Dane Jones in 2011, the actress has continued to build up a solid body of work as she juggles single parenthood with her career. Kristen, meanwhile, will soon know all about that delicate balancing act; she is expecting her first child with partner Dax Shepard, and the pregnant star is due to premiere her film The Lifeguard after Sundance throws open its doors on January 17.
