Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have begun making their house a home. Public records filed with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety have revealed that the couple plan to add their personal stamp on their new house, before the arrival of their first child. Kim, 32, and Kanye, 35, purchased the Italian-style mansion, believed to be worth $11 million, shortly after announcing their exciting baby news.

The decedent Bel Air abode already boasts seven bedrooms, five bathroom and an outdoor pool but in true A-list style the couple plan to add a gym, cinema, hair and make-up salon, bowling alley, basketball court and indoor pool. While the couple have not been able to marry as Kim's divorce from ex-husband Kris Humphries has yet to be granted, their renovation plans show they are firmly creating their life together. Kim has also announced that she plans to lead a more private life after giving birth and is keeping details about her little one under wraps. She and Kanye have reportedly turned down several large sums offered for the first photos of the baby in favour of keeping the youngster out of the public eye.

While the TV star is getting her house ready for the new arrival, she has no plan to stop working just yet. An interview with DuJour magazine sparked speculation that she is leaving Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a rumour the star was quick to dispel on her blog. "I know that many of you have read the DuJour Magazine interview I just did," she said. "In the article, I was asked about continuing on with Keeping Up with the Kardashians. As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10." "The show remains to be my number 1 priority" she added. "It’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every minute of it. It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer together."
