Kimberly Stewart's daughter Delilah takes her first steps

Kimberly Stewart has led her tottering daughter through the sidewalks of Beverly Hills on foot for the first time. Kimberly and Benicio Del Toro's daughter, Delilah Del Toro, who is nearly two years old, took her first steps during a sunny walk with mum Kimberly in Los Angeles. Wearing cute white patent leather shoes and a striped blue and white dress, Rod Stewart's granddaughter looked adorable as she walked down the road. Guiding mum Kimberly wore a bohemian-inspired red tunic and cut-off denim shorts for the weekend outing.

Californian born model Kimberly, 33, gave birth to Delilah in August 2011. Although her and Che actor and father of Delilah, Benicio del Toro are no longer together, Kimberly said that the pair have a great relationship. "Benicio's very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond," said the model exclusively to HELLO!. "She definitely looks like her dad, but she has my legs and eye colour," she added. "I named her after the Tom Jones song, as I'd always loved that." As the first grandchild of rocker Rod Stewart, Delilah is the apple of her grandfather's eye. Known as a hands on Dad, Rod will have a wealth of parenting tips.

"There are lots of kids in my family – no-one's short of advice," Penny said. With a seven-child brood, Maggie May singer Rod is a great helping hand for Kimberly. "Dad handles children great – he’s had a lot of experience," she said. Delilah is also said to get along swimmingly with her half-brother Aiden, who is of a similar age. "Since they are only six months apart, I am counting on them being best friends," said Kimberly.
