Kim Kardashian says being a mum is "so crazy"

Kim Kardashian is still revelling in the moment of becoming a new mother. When host Ryan Seacrest congratulated her on the safe delivery, saying "Yay! Congrats my darling, you’re a mommy!" the queen of reality TV replied with enthusiasm. "Cant believe it! It’s so crazy!" she said. Boyfriend Kanye West is said to be "in love" with his baby daughter who was born on Saturday after his girlfriend was rushed to hospital.

The rapper released his album Yeezus on Tuesday but is clearly more concerned with his baby daughter and being a good father. "He doesn't leave the room," said reality TV star Larsa Pippen, a close friend of Kim. "He's, like, in love with the baby. It's so cute." Larsa visited her friend in the maternity ward and noticed how the Kardashian baby had stolen her father's heart, and she clearly agrees. "The baby is so freaking cute," she said. Kim, who had a natural birth despite rumours circulating she would need a caesarean, is said to be doing well. "She's doing great," said Larsa. "She's feeling really good and excited."

Kim and Kanye have yet to reveal the name of the baby, which is proving difficult to choose. Larsa suggested they narrow the names down to those beginning with a "K", to stick by the Kardashian clan's tradition, but this still caused disagreement. "We kind of went back and forth and the name that I wanted, Kim didn't love," said Larsa. Kanye, meanwhile, is rumoured to be pushing for the name "North", according to reports by InTouch. With the baby taking his surname, this would give the child the name, "North West". "They're not totally sure about it," a close friend of the couple told the magazine. "Kanye loves it, Kim is okay with it, but the family don’t like it." "They're going to decide by today," the friend said on Tuesday.

"Kai Georgia Donda West" was also shortlisted as the top pick, paying tribute to both of the couple's parents. Kim's late dad was called Robert George Kardashian, while Donda refers to the rapper's late mother. Earlier on in the pregnancy, other rumoured choices included Karys, Kara, Kleo, and Kimana.
