'I'll be back soon and better than ever': Ke$ha tweets fans from rehab

Ke$ha has reached out to her fans as she seeks help for an ongoing battle with an eating disorder.The 26-year-old is currently in rehab receiving treatment, and despite not having internet access still managed to thank her loyal supporters for their well wishes.Enlisting a friend to post a message from her official Twitter account, Ke$ha wrote, "THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever."

Her pal added, "Ohhh and she can't believe Timber is still number one! (expletive) YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!"Ke$ha checked into a rehab centre near Chicago on 3 January for what her mother revealed was treatment for anorexia and bulimia.Mum Pebe Sebert revealed that her daughter had "nearly died" as a result of the disorders.

"(The doctors) told me her blood pressure and sodium were so low they'd never seen that, except with someone who's had a heart attack to a stroke," she told People. "They said it was a miracle she hadn't dropped dead on stage. "Pebe, 57, claimed that Ke$ha's problems stemmed from "bullying" by her management team.

About a week after the singer checked herself into Timberline Knolls facility, her mum did the same, blaming post-traumatic stress disorder as the cause.
