Emma Bunton has suggested that the Spice Girls would reform for a Las Vegas residency if they were paid more than Britney Spears.

Emma, 38, who reunited with Geri Halliwell, 41, Victoria Beckham, 39, Melanie Chrisholm, 40, and Melanie Brown, 38, for the Olympics Closing ceremony in 2012, jokingly said that the band would only head to Sin City for more than £195,000."I'd go to Vegas - if we got paid more than Britney," Emma told the Metro. "See, after the Olympics, it was really hard to think "what can we do next?""

"We represented our country you know, it was huge!" She added. "We like to say never say never, we'll have to see. "Given that the ladies have all become mothers in the years since their pop domination, Emma said that their Spice children would need to be considered.

"We've all got children now," she said. "So travelling with them... but, who knows, at the moment we're happy doing our own things."

One person who wouldn't consider the reunion is former Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham.Speaking after the quintet's performance at London 2012, Victoria said that would be the last time she sang with her bandmates. "I won't do it ever again," the singer-turned-fashion designer confessed. "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British…"That was the perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."

The girls dominated the pop charts between 1994 and 2000

Victoria, however, seems content to let the others reunite as a foursome. "Posh is more than happy for the four girls to do it without her," a source told the Daily Star. "But the problem is the offer is only on the table for all five of them.''There's huge interest from various major casinos and hotels so it's just a case of whether the girls can persuade Victoria to change her mind on the project."

Insiders have predicted that a Spice Girls reunion in Vegas "could easily generate $100 million worth of PR in a few weeks and earn the group £25 million in the process."
