Ms Debney, who has been described as a "mother figure" to Peaches, is also the godmother of 11-month-old Phaedra and is expected to play a role in helping to bring up Peaches' two sons.

Her heart-wrenching words come as the model and journalist's body has been released to her family so they can begin to make preparations for her funeral.

On Thursday a spokesman for North West Kent coroner Roger Hatch stated: "We can confirm that the body has been released to the family for funeral arrangements to be made. "The funeral is expected to be held at the Kent church where Peaches married in 2012, and where her mother Paula Yates' memorial service took place in 2000.
