Beyoncé has been pictured with her sister for the first time since footage emerged of Solange Knowles arguing with her brother-in-law Jay Z.

The former Destiny's Child star posted a photo of the siblings on her Instagram account, showing them arm-in-arm and smiling at the camera.

To prove that the ladies really had reunited almost a week after the dramatic footage was leaked, Beyoncé captioned the image with the date and location it was taken: "May 17, New Orleans".

Keen to show she's moving on from the incident, Beyoncé also posted a video entitled Run, publicising her and her husband's upcoming tour, On The Road.

The dramatic three-minute-long clip features numerous car crashes and explosions as well as a steller cast including Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Emmy Rossum, Jake Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, Rashida Jones and Kidada Jones.

In the days following the shocking footage of Solange and Jay Z was released, Beyoncé has shown support for her sister with a series of flashback photos on her Instagram account.

The following three photos showed the sisters in high spirits and in one particularly tender snap, the siblings are pictured hugging on stage at this year's Coachella festival after Beyoncé made a surprise appearance at her sister's gig.

Beyoncé broke her silence on the issue of her husband and Solange's falling out on Thursday. "As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident," she said in a statement. "But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.

"Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred," it read. "They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. "Beyoncé's statement came after

The Standard Hotel confirmed that it had identified and fired the employee who leaked the security camera clip of Solange' scuffle with 99 Problems rapper Jay Z. The New York establishment said the person responsible for leaking the much talked about footage had been terminated for "breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video."
