Robin Williams is known for having dedicated a lifetime to making others feel better, whether it was through stand-up comedy on stage, performing on the big screen, or visiting those who were unwell in hospital. And just months before he sadly took his own life, the comedy genius and Oscar-winning actor took time out to make terminally ill Vivian Waller's wish come true, by recording a touching personal message just for her. "Hi Vivian . . . it's Robin Williams here saying, 'Hey girl, what's going on down there in New Zealand?'", Robin says in the video, moving between an American and Kiwi accent.

"I'm sending all my love to you . . . knock this off your bucket list." In true form, the talented actor then broke into brief song, "channelling Matthew McConaughey" before signing off with — "much love to you, baby". The heart-warming message came after New Zealander Vivian, 21, was diagnosed in January with lung, bowel and liver cancer and named Robin as someone she wanted to meet on a bucket list of things she wanted to do before she died. She then became too ill to travel to America.
