It’s a busy time for Kevin and Karen Clifton. Preparations are now well underway for their upcoming tour, which kicks off in May - and while the pair are eager to get their show on the road, they both really appreciate heading home together at the end of a busy day. "We love going home and relaxing after an intense rehearsal schedule," the husband and wife told HELLO! Online this week. "We order some good food and cuddle on the couch."

Kevin and Karen, both 34, have teamed up with top choreographer Jason Gilkison for their 'Kevin and Karen Dance' tour, and the trio have been working hard to come up with some spectacular new routines for the live shows.

Kevin and Karen Clifton talked about their upcoming tour with HELLO! Online

Asked if they feel apprehensive ahead of the May start date, the couple replied: "We always get really nervous, especially when it’s something that means so much to us. But the best thing is that we have each other out there, and there is no better feeling than doing something with the person that means the most to you."

And despite the pressure of both living and working side-by-side, Kevin and Karen revealed that they rarely "bicker". "We love working together, especially when it’s a project we are both very passionate about and have dreamt of having for a very long time," they added.

The Strictly Come Dancing stars admitted they rarely "bicker"

Jason is one of the industry’s most sought-after and highly-respected choreographers, having held the position of Creative Director at the BBC for Strictly for the past three years. He has also worked with Kevin and Karen on Burn the Floor on Broadway, and the pair are delighted that he will be by their side as they embark on their first tour together.

"Jason is someone that we have worked with really close for several years," the couple said. "He is a genius and one of the best choreographers, and a really great friend of ours. We respect and admire him and are really excited that he will be on this journey with us."

As for their post-tour plans in August? "We are looking forward to having some good sleep and spending time with our dog Betty," Karen and Kevin revealed. "But there’s always lots of projects in store, so we will probably be up on our feet and dancing again!"
