Jamie Oliver has joked that falling asleep to the sound of Keeping Up With The Kardashians has "damaged" him. During an appearance on Australian radio show Fitzy &Wippa on Nova FM this week, the celebrity chef opened up about his happy home life with Jools and their five children – and also shared one of his wife's more annoying habits. "We're completely different sleepers," he admitted. "I think there's quite a few women like her. Basically our wallpaper, our kind of melodic tone that set us off – well, not us, her! – is the Kardashians. I think I subliminally go to bed every night with all that going on in my ear."

Jamie Oliver has revealed Jools' love of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

He continued: "I try to be a balanced, nice, normal person and I have that daft sort of… it's ridiculous, isn't it? I know everyone likes it, but… And when it's not the Kardashians, it's The Only Way Is Essex or Geordie Shore. I don't know what it is! And when you're not seeing the pictures… At least when you watch it you can see something quite funny. But when it's sonic… I think it's damaged me!"

Jamie, 41, also opened up about being a father to five children, joking: "I don't know what happened there… Well, I do know what happened!" Asked if he would like to expand his family further, he replied: "Jools did say [five] is an unlucky, uneven number, which frightened me!... I would go to have the operation if I wasn't frightened about Facetime live, and how easily pushed over surgeons are in the UK."

Jamie and Jools share five children together

Jools and Jamie have been married since 2000 and share five children together: Poppy Honey, 15, Daisy Boo, 14, Petal Blossom, eight, six-year-old Buddy Bear and River Rocket, who was born last August. Jools recently told Vogue he would consider having another child. "I'll never really draw the line," she said. "[River]'s six months now, so we're past the really difficult sleepless first few months. He's such a joy. I'm getting older, but I'd definitely do it again if I could. I think Jamie's finished, but you just never know!"
