|Perhaps the most famous pets in the world, the Queen's corgis are accustomed to getting the red carpet treatment. Her Majesty is extremely fond of her canine brood which are famous for stealing the limelight at official photo calls. She has three pedigree pooches, as well as three dorgis, a cross breed originating from the then Princess Elizabeth's corgi Tiny with Princess Margaret's dachshund Pipkin. Elizabeth's love affair with her pets began when she received Susan, a gift from her parents, on her 18th birthday. She and her younger sister hand-fed the newcomer from a silver platter held by a footman and today the royal matriarch continues the custom, carefully mixing the ingredients and placing them in bowls in order of seniority.
