Alan Coxon developed his love of food early on when his family moved to Monte Carlo. His daily route to school took him via two outdoor food markets and he soon got to know the local stall holders.
With his classroom overlooking the catering college kitchens he knew from an early age that he wanted to become a chef, and eventually he found himself working for leading hotels and restaurants around the globe.
His fascination with ingredients’ origins earned him the title of 'Food Archaeologist' from commentators.
