It has everything from jams for a weekend breakfast to duck rillettes - perfect for an outdoor picnic in the summer - to a sumptuous wilted green winter salad, garnished with blue cheese and crispy prosciutto.

The book is full of useful recipes perfectly suited to the busy home life most of us lead now. It’s a weighty tome with plenty to browse through for inspiration illustrated with bright appetising photographs and definitely worth a look if you love entertaining and seasonal food.
