Their new collaborative work, Two Greedy Italians, to accompany their latest TV series, sees the pair return to Italy on a journey to rediscover their culinary routes.
They go on an edible voyage up and down the length of the country taking in not only gorgeous, wonderfully simple recipes such as coniglio con olive, timo e marinata di agrumi (citrus marinated rabbit with black olives and thyme) and carpaccio di manzo con finicchio e pecorino (beef carpaccio with fennel and Pecorino) but the cultural changes that have occurred since they both lived there as well as how much of it has stayed the same.
The recipes in Two Greedy Italians are both old and new, traditional and modern and while some have changed, many of these classics have remained thankfully untouched. A must for any lover of Italian food.
