There's no doubt that mouthwatering Italian dishes such as pizza, pasta and risotto have a great part to play in celebrities such as George Clooney, Madonna, Donatella Versace and Sir Richard Branson all choosing to have holiday homes in Italy.

Italian food has won itself world-wide fame – thousands of tourists flock to the boot-shaped Mediterranean country every year, as well as to Italian restaurants all over the world.
