Red kiwifruit super-smoothie

Go to work on a kiwi – give yourself a boost by starting your day with this healthy breakfast drink

Ingredients (Makes 500ml/18fl oz)

  • 2 red kiwifruit, peeled
  • 1 banana, peeled and chopped
  • 150ml/1⁄4pt cranberry juice
  • 4 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • Slices of red kiwifruit to serve

Put the kiwifruit and banana in a blender and whizz until smooth. With the motor running on low, gradually add the cranberry juice, followed by the yoghurt, to thicken.

Serve the smoothie immediately in tall tumblers, balancing a slice or two of red kiwifruit on the side of the glass to decorate.
