Banana, honey and ginger smoothie

Give your mornings a boost with this super smoothie

Serves 2


  • Small knob of fresh ginger, peeled, or ground ginger to taste
  • 2 tbsp runny honey
  • 4 tbsp probiotic/live yoghurt
  • 1 medium, ripe banana
  • Juice of 4 oranges
  • Juice of ½ lemon


Finely grate the peeled ginger, or put the ground ginger, into the bowl of a blender or food processor – it’s up to you how much ginger you use. Add the remaining ingredients and whizz until completely blended. Pour into a tall glass and drink straight away, otherwise the vitamins might begin to lose their potency.
