Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker and her actor husband Matthew Broderick have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital.
Proud papa Matthew is "ecstatic" about the new arrival, who is said to be named David Perkins Broderick, reports the New York Post.
One of Hollywood's most fashionable mums, Sarah was sporting a short, black gown and a pair of Manolo Blahnik stilettoes just a few days ago as she presented the footwear designer with an award at a NY gala. Close to her due date, she simply repeated, "Who knows? Who knows?" when asked when she was going to have the baby.
The star – whose pregnancy was concealed by creative costuming on Sex And The City – was mum on what will be happening to her character Carrie Bradshaw in upcoming episodes. "Hopefully, she fits into the outfits that (costume designer) Pat Fields picks for her," Sarah joked last week. "But, I don't have a clue. I don't know. I'll know after Thanksgiving what the story line looks like for the season."
