It wasn't so much a case of Desperate Housewives as desperate bargain hunters on Thursday as hundreds of shoppers geared up for the winter sale at Harrods department store in London. Eva Longoria opened the proceedings, arriving in regal style in an open green carriage pulled by two black horses.
The stunning actress, who is busy planning her wedding to basketball player Tony Parker in France next summer, seemed happiest at the famous store's pet department where she won the affection of two fluffy puppies.
Like her luxury-loving alter ego Gabrielle, she didn't fail to impress in the glamour stakes as she enjoyed a tour of the jewellery department. Eva set flashbulbs popping as she took off her white Jasmine de Milo coat to reveal a Dolce & Gabbana black minidress and Christian Louboutin skyscraper heels. And while her accessories included some impressive necklaces, they couldn't outshine the bride-to be's dazzling five-carat diamond engagement ring.
