Diminutive star Sarah Jessica Parker was clearly enjoying herself when she was photographed at a glitzy bash in New York this week. The popular actress, who was among the A-list guests at an exclusive party in the Museum of Modern Art, was seen enjoying an animated conversation with small screen favourite Jerry Seinfeld and his pretty wife Jessica.

The mum-of-one lived up to her stylish reputation in a midnight-blue dress with ruffled hem and an appropriately modern gold necklace. And she certainly seemed to have plenty to say for herself, laughing enthusiastically and gesturing with her hands as she and Jessica chatted.

But despite her outgoing personality Sarah says she has little in common with her Sex And The City character. Carrie Bradshaw was never short of a few words of advice when her friends found themselves experiencing relationship difficulties, but the blonde performer insists she is no expert on matters of the heart.

"I get the feeling people are disappointed with me because I don't have the answers for them," she confessed. "I don't have a PhD in sex or counselling - I'm an actress. I wonder if George Clooney is better prepared to talk about surgery because of ER." The 41-year-old hasn't fared too badly in her own romantic life, however, as she and her actor husband Matthew Broderick are looking forward to celebrating their tenth anniversary next year.
