Catherine Zeta-Jones lived up to her reputation for old-fashioned glamour when she turned out for a charity bash in LA at the weekend.

The Welsh actress, who was accompanied by her husband Michael Douglas, epitomised Hollywood's golden era in an off-the-shoulder gown and her long tresses styled into a Fifties-era 'do.

The mum-of-two was supporting the "A Fine Romance" gala, staged to raise money for the Motion Picture And Television Fund. Also among the Hollywood heavyweight guests attending the benefit were Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson.

Not far away, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Eva Mendes was meanwhile rubbing shoulders with the likes of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher at a party to mark the opening of a new exhibition celebrating the world's of fashion and architecture.

The Stuck On You bombshell, who is of Cuban descent, made quite an impression on the press pack with her sophisticated hairstyle and exotic print dress. Six Feet Under star Rachel Griffiths likewise turned out for the glitzy soiree.
