Ava, four, is clearly delighted by dad's efforts, running around the playground in delight as he makes his way down a slide
With the demands of a hugely successful Broadway run, Hugh Jackman will be finding that time spent with his children is more precious than ever.
So the renowned family man didn't waste a second when he and wife Deborra-Lee Furness took their four-year-old daughter Ava to the park after picking her up from school.
Possibly the most active parent in the playground, the on-screen action hero clambered on climbing frames and slid down slides much to the delight of his little girl.
As his youngest excitedly ran around, the handsome Aussie star looked to be having just as much fun as Ava, who was warmly wrapped up for fun and games.
Hugh, 41, is frequently seen throwing himself into activities with his children – he also has a nine-year-old son Oscar - gaining him a reputation as a down-to-earth dad.
From running alongside Ava as she learnt to ride a bike and piggyback rides, to pushing his children on the swings, riding scooters and playfully launching them in the air, the X Men actor is clearly most content in his role as a father.
