Rare sighting of Catherine Zeta Jones' children as they join dad for street parade

The children of Hollywood's golden couples are often photographed, from Brad and Angelina's six youngsters, to Tom and Katie's daughter Suri.

But two progenies who are very rarely seen, despite coming from one of the film industry's most acclaimed dynasties, are the offspring of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

So it was a real treat to catch a glimpse of nine-year-old budding actor Dylan and his sister Carys, six, as they joined their dad to watch the 83rd Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York on Thursday.

Little Carys held onto dad Michael, who wrapped his arms around his youngest as the trio and friends enjoyed the festivities from their balcony.

Mum Catherine, who celebrated her 40th birthday in September, had to skip the procession.

She is currently busy making her Broadway debut in A Little Night Music alongside Bedknobs and Broomsticks star Angela Lansbury.
There were other famous faces watching the floats parade through the city.

Antonio Banderas and wife Melanie Griffith - healthy and happy after leaving a treatment centre earlier this year – wanted to capture the spirit of the extravaganza.

The Spanish star was spotted filming the parade from the window of an apartment as his wife looked on.
