"There's no way in hell I'm going to eat a witchetty grub," she said. "There's a thing they call vomit fruit, and that's just a plant, but it's the worst thing in the world!"
The Irish presenter, who spoke to HELLO! Online ahead of her third series as presenting I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! NOW! admitted that there is one element of the jungle experience that she wouldn't mind – the celebrity contestants' outfits.
"I think it would be quite nice to not have to think about what you wear, and just put on the same thing," she said. "It's like being at school and putting on your uniform!"
The show, which is filmed in Dungay Creek, Australia, means Laura is away from home for weeks, and the 28-year-old revealed that the change in time zones can be confusing.
Laura also confessed that although she and her fellow presenters, stand-up comedian Rob Beckett and previous King of the Jungle Joe Swash, are meant to keep to a strict curfew, it doesn't always happen that way.
"We're supposed to go to bed at two or three in the afternoon," she explained. "In my first year I was so adamant that I needed to go to bed at a certain time, because it's not like if you have a bad day at the office and you struggle to get through, you can't struggle to get through. You have to be on top form," she said, before admitting, "Last year I let that go a little bit!"
The presenter revealed that despite the change of time and country, she has tried and tested ways of making herself feel at home in the outback.
"I travel all the time and I'm quite a nester," she explained. "I always stick in a few candles that smell like my apartment – Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir – and then some pictures and even Irish tea bags. So I'm like, 'Come over to my apartment! Have some tea!'"
Laura also explained that although the trio of presenters are good friends outside of work, one of them in particular makes meeting up in the UK harder than it should be.
"We ring Joe's landline at his mum's house to find out where he is, his phone is always breaking," she explained. "Sometimes we just don't invite him!"
