The long list allows each programme to have three actors nominated in each category so the co-stars - including new HELLO! Online blogger Cath - might be battling it out when the shorter version is announced.
The third name joining the Corrie duo is Georgia May Foote, and Jennifer Metcalfe from Hollyoaks plus Shona McGarty from Eastenders provide competition.
Cath's ITV offering will be trying to retain its title as Best British Soap and is, once again, up against Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale and Doctors.
Michelle has also been nominated for Best Actress, a list which also includes Lacey Turner and Lindsey Coulson from BBC1's Eastenders.
In the Villain of the Year category, EastEnders' Charlie Brooks is in the running for the shortlist - when the event is presented by Phillip Schofield on Saturday May 24 - along with Chris Gascoyne from Coronation Street.

Michelle has won the Sexiest Female category for the last five years, and will be hoping to be crowned for the sixth time before her explosive exit from the soap later this year.
Producer Stuart Blackburn promised viewers "an incredible, spectacular exit" for Michelle.
Best Actor nods include the show's Adam Woodyatt, Danny Dyer and Nitin Ganatra, plus Nick Pickard, Kieron Richardson and Jeremy Sheffield from Channel 4's Hollyoaks.
Ryan Thomas, Ashley Taylor Dawson and former footballer Danny are among those waiting to hear if they’ve made the Sexist Male shortlist.
Following Michelle’s deicison to leave the soap, TV bosses confirmed her character Tina McIntyre will be killed off, with Stuart adding: "it's going to take us right through autumn and December. It's going to be massive."
