With the release of the new Fast & Furious film growing ever closer, Vin Diesel has shared two new stills from the movie – along with a touching message to his late co-star Paul Walker. Posting two photos on his Facebook page, the actor wrote, "Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7. Speechless… yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE!

"I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet. We all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man,  I wish he could see what we have created, and just how far we have come.

"One of the images shows Vin Diesel and Paul stood side-by-side in character as Dom and Brian in the upcoming film, which is due to be released in April 2015. In the second still, Dom can be seen wrapping his fists in a garage, as if ready to take part in a street fight.

Paul was tragically killed in a car crash on 30 November, while filming was still ongoing for the latest installment in the Fast & Furious franchise. His character, Brian O'Conner, is expected to survive the film, although details of his exit remain a well-guarded secret. Paul's brothers Caleb and Cody were brought in as stand-ins, so the film could be completed. Vin isn't the only one remembering Paul at this time; the late star's daughter Meadow Walker recently shared a sweet message in honour of his birthday on 12 September.
