Robert Pattinson's sister Lizzy has said that "the show must go on" after being booted from The X Factor on Sunday night's episode. The 31-year-old hopeful sent a message of thanks to her fans who had supported her throughout her journey, explaining that she wasn't feeling on top form at the audition. "Thanks for your lovely messages. I had laringytus at judges' houses, but did the best I could. The show must go on! Best time ever," Lizzy wrote on Twitter.

Robert's older sibling also echoed her sentiments on Facebook, revealing that she would be releasing new material soon. "Thanks so much for the messages of support over the last few months," posted Lizzy. "Wow! It has been an amazing experience - challenging and scary, but mostly great fun! Looking forward to bringing you some new songs soon ... x."
X Factor 2014: Meet the finalistsBefore her audition in front of Simon Cowell and guest judge Sinitta, the blonde beauty admitted that it was the "most important day" of her life. "I've wanted to be a singer since I was 15 but at some point along the way, life took over and music got put to one side," said Lizzy. "Doing The X Factor has put everything into perspective again in the most wonderful way."
The star's audition left the judges less than impressed however, as Sinitta told Simon, "If I had been watching on TV I would have gone to the loo really quickly, because I'd have thought, 'Okay I've seen her… I don't need to see all of it'."
"She just doesn't quite make the impact and would she get swallowed up on the big stage," agreed Simon. "I think she does have star quality though. I like her." The music mogul gave a disheartened Lizzy a hug as she walked away from the cameras, tears welling up in her eyes. Simon, meanwhile, let through Jay James, Ben Haenow and Fleur East in his Over 25s category, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini decided Lauren Platt, Stephanie Nala and Chloe Jasmine would make up the Girls. Louis Walsh's Groups consisted of Blonde Electric, The New Boy Band and Only The Young while Mel B whittled down her final three to Andrea Faustini, Jack Quickenden and Paul Akister.
