Katie Bulmer-Cooke and Sanjay Sood-Smit became Lord Sugar's latest victims as they were booted off The Apprentice in a double eviction in Wednesday night's episode. Katie and Sanjay were brought back into the boardroom along with Mark, where Lord Sugar went through their business proposals and discussed the task before making his decision. Katie was the first to face the dreaded words "You're Fired", as Lord Sugar said that he couldn't see how they would be able to work together to launch her business.

After a further discussion with both Mark and Sanjay, Lord Sugar then delivered the news that Sanjay was also fired. The episode saw the teams go head to head as they each created a brand new range of premium puddings, which they pitched to the country's major supermarkets. Team Summit, led by Roisin, won the task with 25,500 units ordered and were rewarded with a trip to sample macaroons and martinis on board an exclusive yacht, which featured in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. Team Tenacity, headed by Katie as project manager, received 13,500 orders and were therefore called back to the boardroom. After assessing their business proposals, Lord Sugar made his decision. "Look Katie, you've been Miss Common Sense, a good organizer I would say. But I honestly cannot see how a restaurant business starting from scratch in a very niche market is going to work with you and I. And on that basis Katie, I do wish you the best of the luck in your ongoing business, but in this particular case, it is with regret that you're fired.”

Lord Sugar continued to discuss the task with both Mark and Sanjay, before telling them: "Sanjay, you are an intelligent and clever fellow, no question of it, and you've done very well in the banking circles. Mark, you are a good salesman, and the proposition that you're putting forward is all about sales, but there are so many of you out there doing it. "Sanjay, I don't have the confidence in this website that you're talking about, I really don't. So Sanjay, you're fired."
