EastEnders fans have the chance to choose the music that will play at Ian and Jane Beale's second wedding. Viewers can vote for the song they want to see the couple walk down the aisle to when they say "I do" for the second time during one of the show's live 30th anniversary shows. The options available, which were all released in 1985 – the year the soap began, include: There Must be An Angel (Playing With My Heart) by Eurythmics, That Ole Devil Called Love by Alison Moyet, The Power Of Love by Jennifer Rush, I Want To Know What Love Is by Foreigner and You’re The Inspiration by Chicago.

Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian, is the show's longest-serving character

The wedding episode is set to air on 19 February, which is also the date that the soap will reveal who killed Lucy Beale, mid-way through the week of live shows that will celebrate EastEnders' 30th birthday. When Ian ties the knot with Jane again next month it will mark the fifth time his character has wed on the show. Ian, who is played by Adam Woodyatt and is the longest-serving character and the only remaining original character to have appeared continuously since the first episode on 19 February 1985, has had three previous wives.

In 1989 Ian married Cindy Williams Senior, played by Michelle Collins, and the pair remained together until 1997. Two years later he tied the knot with Melanie Healy, played by Tamzin Outhwaite, although the union only lasted a year. Ian and his former nanny Laura Dunn married in 2001 although the marriage broke down while Laura, played by Hannah Waterman, was pregnant with the couple's son Bobby.
