Mark Wright has said he is "over the moon" after it was revealed his children's show The Dengineers is set to be aired in America. The CBBC programme has been picked up by America's Discovery Channel Family Channel, which is available in more than 70 million homes, meaning Mark could be on the road to achieving success in the States.

Sharing a newspaper article confirming the news, Mark wrote: "The cat is finally out of the bag and I'm over the moon…"

Mark Wright's children's show The Dengineers is due to be aired in America

Mark has been presenting the children's programme with CBBC vlogger Lauren Layfield since 2015. The Dengineers is described as a makeover show that creates "dream dens for lucky recipients", something that Mark said he loved to do with his brothers and sisters when he was young.

The news follows an incredible year both personally and professionally for Mark, who has quickly established himself as a radio and television presenter with roles on Heart FM and Take Me Out: The Gossip.

Mark has signed to the same US agent as Ryan Seacrest and Piers Morgan, and has made no secret of his desire to work in America. The former TOWIE star admitted that both he and his wife Michelle Keegan would love to work in Los Angeles, and the couple spent time meeting with agents during their time in the States last summer.

"England will always be our home but both Michelle and I would love to spread our wings and work in LA," Mark admitted to The Sunday People at the time.

The television presenter also told HELLO! that he would love to present a big Saturday night entertainment show in the future. "That's the goal, the dream," he said in April, adding that he is hoping for a "lovely, healthy happy family," in five years' time.
