With Laura Whitmore busy competing on Strictly Come Dancing, ITV needed to find some top replacements to front I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show – and they have done just that. Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon and comedian Chris Ramsey will join Joe Swash as the new hosts of the programme, which has also been renamed I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp.

The news was announced by ITV on Twitter, alongside a photo of the new line-up with the caption: "This year @ITV2 returns with the newly named I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp, as well as a new gang of super fan presenters! #ImACeleb."

Joe is no stranger to the jungle; he won the eighth series of the show in 2008, and has presented the spin-off with Laura since 2009. This year he is being joined Down Under by his girlfriend Stacey – the pair first met back in 2010 on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now!, when she appeared as a guest, and they started dating in 2015.

"I'm A Celebrity is always my most favourite time of the year," Joe, 34, said of the show. "I cannot wait to be back at my second home with a new gang of people. As always, I'm sure this series will be the best one yet."

Vicky, meanwhile, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle last year, said: "I can't wait to work alongside Chris, Joe and Stacey, who are all brilliant. I'm dying to get back in the jungle, and hopefully they'll still let me give some of the trials a go! We can't let the camp mates have all the fun now, can we?!"

With the start of the 16th series of I'm A Celebrity fast approaching, speculation is mounting as to which starts will be taking part. According to the Mirror, Strictly's Aliona Vilani and Ola Jordan are in the running, with a source revealing: "Both Aliona and Ola are absolutely gorgeous and were massively popular on Strictly, but there would only be room for one.

"ITV have not confirmed any of the names for the new show, but they have been looking at Ola, they think she could be TV gold. They are also interested in Aliona as she was last year's Strictly winner and is yet to sign up to another show."

Other celebs tipped to appear this year include the former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, 52, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, 25, disgraced Olympian Ryan Lochte, 32, and former Made In Chelsea's  Spencer Matthews, 27.
