Sir Tom Jones will join will.i.am on the new judging panel of the latest series of The Voice UK.

The original coaches of the British format will be accompanied by Oscar-winning star Jennifer Hudson and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale when the search for the next singing sensation moves to its new home on ITV.

Sir Tom's surprise return comes after he was unceremoniously dumped from the judging panel when the show was a part of the BBC last year.
