The 33-year-old singer and his overjoyed wife thanked fans on Twitter for their support throughout the competition. "Thank you to EVERYONE who voted, your support has been absolutely amazing!! #imacelebrity King of the Jungle 2013!!" wrote Kian. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You made Kian king of the jungle!!!! You are a force!!!!! Your support is unbelievable.. We send all our love to you! ❤," posted Jodi. The couple, who have a two-year-old son Koa together, had only seen each other once halfway through the show, when Jodi surprised Kian after he won a challenge. "It was a very emotional moment," said Kian on Daybreak.

"It was just so special to see her and it just made me realise how much I loved her and how much I missed her. "It's still breaking my heart that I haven't seen Koa but we're coming home tomorrow so it's getting closer and closer," added the singer on Lorraine.

Runner-up fashion designer David Emmanuel, who is best known for crafting Princess Diana's wedding dress, swept Kian into a congratulatory hug when the father-of-one was announced as the winner, calling him a "great guy" who "thoroughly deserves it".Earlier in the episode as they sat down for their final Bushtucker Trial, David and Kian admitted they had no idea how they had come so far in the competition. "I'm just an ordinary guy who makes pretty frocks," said the 61-year-old designer. "You've come in here and outlasted everyone else and that's because you are a good guy and people vote for nice people," Kian told David. "I have a fan base of Westlife fans but nothing like what Joey has," he said, referring to former TOWIE star Joey Essex  who was previously favoured to win. "He has over two million followers on Twitter, I have 250,000."That's still a lot but even so he has 1.75m more than me so it's like, what has happened? It's way beyond my expectations. I never expected to be here in the final. I'm absolutely gobsmacked."

"I'm deeply honoured," said David. "I can't quite understand this whole thing, and all I know is that I've had the most amazing time in here." He added that appearing on the show was a personal achievement, as just over a year ago he had been battling prostate cancer.

The two contestants were served up a final gruesome meal, which included ostrich anus, cows' udder, live beach worms and a fish eye. For each course they completed, they were given the equivalent meal that evening.

Kian opted for a pizza, burger and chips and banoffee pie while David ordered smoked salmon, fillet steak and Eton mess.
