For the past seven months, Harry Styles has been hard at work filming scenes for Dunkirk as he sets out to establish his acting career. On 1 September, shooting on the set finally finished and the 22-year-old officially wrapped his first film. In celebration, costume designer Krista Guggia shared a photograph on her Instagram account, showing her posing with Harry and another crew member. "And that's a wrap on Dunkirk!" she captioned the snapshot. "It's been an absolute pleasure to work with this true class act. 7 long, crazy months and I can't wait to see the final product!"

Harry Styles has finished filming Dunkirk after seven months

Mark recently opened up to the Evening Standard about his experience working alongside musician Harry. "What has really surprised me is he's really witty, really funny - he really makes me laugh," he said. "He's been ever so brave, not making a fuss.

"He seems remarkable… one of those people. Sean Penn has it too - a kind of panache. I look at them and think, 'How did you get that? How did you get so that life is easy?' But he has got a lovely, lovely character. It's a gift."

Last month the first official trailer for Dunkirk was released - and although Harry doesn't appear in the teaser, fans were utterly gripped. The clip shows scenes from the from the beaches of Dunkirk, from bodies lying still on the sand to soldiers being transported onto the shore while a clock ticks ominously in the background. "At the point of crisis, at the point of annihilation, survival is victory," a message reads.

Fans were quick to praise the look of the film, which was written, directed and produced by Interstellar director Christopher, with Doctor Who star Karen Gillan writing: "Woah that last shot in the Dunkirk trailer was incredible," while another fan wrote: "The Dunkirk trailer deserves to be seen on the big screen with surround sound. Unbelievable how immersed you can get in a minute."
