Best friends Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby enjoyed a catch up live on air during Tuesday's episode of Lorraine. Fearne – standing in for host Lorraine Kelly – was delighted to welcome her close pal to the show, as they sat down to chat about family life and shared their frustration over their husbands' love of football. Holly revealed that her partner Dan Baldwin is a huge football fan – and said her sons were following suit. "Harry is football-obsessed and he's got training Saturday and Friday Night Fives, so I don't have a choice," she told Fearne. "Chester has that growing up as well, so I am in trouble. My only hope is [daughter] Belle! It's not even just one team that Dan follows, he will watch anything. He will watch re-runs!"

The two friends also spoke about their experience of working together on their 2007 show Holly & Fearne Go Dating, descending into giggles as they watched a throwback clip. "We should do another show together," Fearne said. "It was ten years ago we did Holly and Fearne Go Dating." Holly added: "I don't think we have changed then I look at that and we have!" The six-part series showed the duo compete to find an ideal match for a candidate. At the end of each episode, the lonely heart would go on a dinner date with both Holly and Fearne's choices before making an ultimate decision.

The TV stars reminisced about their 2007 TV show Holly & Fearne Go Dating

Fearne admitted that the TV duo had spent most of their time "sat at a bar drinking a cocktail". She added: "It was really good fun. It was the perfect place to have a TV show. We were watching other people go on a date and eating nice food and having a lovely drink." Holly then quipped: "No wonder there was only one series!" with Fearne adding: "They couldn't deal with the bar bill at the end of the show!" Viewers clearly loved seeing the two friends together on screen, and took to Twitter to praise the pair. "Just watching @ITVLorriane with @Fearnecotton and @hollywills, two friends just having a girly catch up live on TV. Love it. #girlpower," one fan wrote. Another added: "Loving Fearne interviewing Holly on #Lorraine. So sweet and just so naturally joyful. It really made me smile."
