Ore Oduba has previously joked that he and his wife Portia "spent about a day together" last year as a result of their busy schedules. So the couple were understandably excited as they both prepared to jet off to Cannes on Tuesday to front coverage of the famous film festival for This Morning. Appearing live on the show via video link from the airport, the couple couldn't stop smiling as they prepared to board their plane. "We're going to try for access all areas," former Strictly star Ore told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

The TV presenter then revealed that he and Portia were actually running late for their flight, and only had 50 minutes before they had to be on their plane. Keen to have a little fun at their expense, Phillip jokingly remarked "We had a 20 minute interview planned here!" – prompting panicked looks from both husband and wife.

During an appearance on Lorraine in March this year, Ore opened up about his marriage to Portia, and revealed the couple have put their baby plans on hold because they are simply "too busy" to start a family. Quizzed on the subject by host Lorraine, Ore replied: "Are you going to get on my back with the babies as well as my mum and dad?!" He teased: "Give us a break! Give us a chance! We haven't got the time… Last year we spent about a day together."

The couple took part in a HELLO! photoshoot to mark their first wedding anniversary

Ore and Portia tied the knot in November 2015 – and to mark their one year wedding anniversary, they took part in an exclusive photoshoot with HELLO! magazine, held at their wedding reception venue, Penshurst Place in Kent. "I knew she was The One straight away," Ore said of his wife. "From the first two months, we talked about wanting children. The way we are with each other hasn't dipped or changed. I know I will always be fine when Portia is here."
