Selena Gomez has lust-worthy hair, so it's no surprise that she would partner with well-known hair brand Pantene to be their latest brand ambassador. The starlet announced the big news on her Instagram account Monday giving a sneak peek at her newest advertisement. "I am so happy to announce my new partnership with Pantene! #SelenaxPantene #strongisbeautiful @pantenehair," she captioned the photo.

Just as the 22-year-old posted to her social media, a behind-the-scenes video from her first shoot hit the web showing the singer discussing why she loved the hair care products. "Three reasons I’m excited to be Pantene’s new ambassador [are that] I’ve used it my whole life," she says in the clip. "Second, their message for women being strong is beautiful, and what they represent is so what I embody, and what I want my fans to know, to feel confident, and third, it’s fun! It’s so fun to feel like your inner girl, playing with your hair and just feeling beautiful and having fun with it.”

The brand is just as excited to have the brunette beauty join their team. “I am proud that Selena Gomez is the newest member of the Pantene family," said Jodi Allen, Vice President of Hair Care & Color for North America at Procter & Gamble in a press release. "Her talents go beyond being an actress and singer. She is a modern beauty with amazing hair and is a true inspiration.”

Showing off her lush locks in full force, Selena stepped out at the Hotel Transylvania 2 photo call in Cancún, Mexico on Sunday. She donned a strapless red dress with a thigh-high slit and rocked a half-up hairstyle for the event. Proving it’s a busy time for the singer, she also teased a new single called "Good For You" on Instagram Friday night. "GOOD FOR YOU. JUNE 22. #IMready," she captioned a picture from behind the scenes of the music video for the song.
