Kelly, your make-up line for New Look is inspired by your love of all things vintage. What other boxes does it tick for you?"I wanted to create something that was really easy to use and that wasn't too crazy. My style is quite classic and timeless, so my make-up had to really reflect that. I wanted elegant, wearable, really beautiful products so that girls can create gorgeous looks without plastering on loads of make-up."You have stuck to the essentials. How did you decide what to include? "My inspiration was my own make-up needs. A really good mascara, a great eyebrow colour, a concealer and a lip gloss and I am ready to go. For me, less is more." Do you have a top make-up trick for a big night out?"Contouring is a big trend, so concealer is essential. I apply it under my eyes and also do a whisker trick: applying in stripes from the outer edges of my nose and corner edges of my mouth out onto my cheeks, then blended to brighten the front of my face. The lighter colour reflects light and lifts the sunken areas."How do you keep your skin looking so amazing?"I go for regular facials. But I think the secret of great skin is to keep it as clean as possible, so I go without make-up on my days off. Because I have to wear make-up for my work, deep cleansing and exfoliating is essential."You have got the red carpet mastered – is getting glammed up a chore or a pleasure?"I love glamour and being sexy and dressing up and I think it’s good to be confident. It’s important to look your best because it reflects how you feel about yourself. I really believe that what goes on the outside reflects what’s on the inside."Are you high maintenance?"It depends. I can be high maintenance for my work when I have to look good, but in my day-to-day life, hanging out at home, I'm happy with no make-up on and my hair in a ponytail."

You’ve worn some amazing party dresses that really show off your curves. How do you stay in shape?"At the moment I have been doing lots of reformer Pilates and I’ve just finished Crazy Horse so I have been dancing a lot and that has kept me really fit. It’s all about core strength and great posture and the Pilates really helped with that. It’s not hard cardio but it has been challenging to be really strong and flexible."What's your best bit of exercise advice?"Work out regularly and don’t push yourself too hard. Some people go to the gym and push themselves really hard and then give up. I definitely think little and often is better than killing yourself in one session."Whose red carpet style do you admire?"Kate Moss and Alexa Chung are gorgeous and so is Kim Kardashian. They are independent, strong and with good self-esteem. They all have different styles, but they’re all celebrated and come across as being happy with themselves."Do you have a beauty icon?"I love Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren. Nowadays I like Halle Berry – she’s gorgeous and always looks glamorous on the red carpet."What is your signature scent?"I wear Fracas. I smelt it on Madonna and thought, ‘Ooh, I’m going to get that.’ I love it – it’s the perfect party perfume."Have you plans for Christmas?"I am sure I will be at home with my family. Then I try to get away somewhere warm for New Year's."And one final party prep tip…"Coco Chanel said that before you leave the house you should take off one accessory item to avoid being OTT. I like that and it works for make-up too. I choose either eyes or lips, never both."
